These are really lightweight, have a very cushioned sole and the space between the toes are mesh so they keep your foot cool. The toe area is articulated from the rest so it's very flexible and great if you're doing a lot of running on the balls of your feet. It takes a while to get used to getting the shoes on and the first few times I was often jamming 2 toes into the same toe slot.
I normally take a 7.5 in sports shoes and they fit fine barefoot. The thing is I don't think these are the washable kind of shoe or at least there are no directions on the box so you'd have to get toe socks to deal with cleanliness. When i put on the toe socks with the shoes they were way too tight. Going up a half size worked great.
One last thing. The QA on these shoes are a little iffy. I bought 7.5 at a brick and mortar store and also a 7.5 on Amazon. The ones at Amazon were more like a 7 (like a quarter of an inch shorter). That has nothing to do with Amazon but Amazon does offer a great free return policy so dealing with that was a breeze.
